The most recent celebration in Club Penguin, Earth Day, has finished. A week-long celebration for penguins to celebrate the world and raise money for charity.
We all had a great time! Club Penguin News 24/7 didn't get to meet Rockhopper. :-(. However, sometimes we were VERY close.
Anyway, we hope you all enjoyed Earth Day!
Waddle on!

Rockhopper Tracker
We know here at Club Penguin News 24/7, it can be hard and stressful finding Rockhopper on Club Penguin. This is why we now have a Rockhopper Tracker!
We've looked at various trackers and we've decided the one we've selected to feature on our site is one of the best!
I hope you find it useful for finding Rockhopper, especially now during Earth Week!

Earth Day Has Begun!
Earth Day has arrived! The party has begun! Rockhopper has arrived and there are Easter eggs to collect!
So much is happening right now. Word of Rockhopper arriving must've got out quickly because 17 minutes after Rockhopper arrived, Club Penguin News 24/7 was able to go to the Migrator and visit the Captain's Quarter's.
Here's a picture we've got from the scene
As you can see, plenty of penguins have come to visit Rockhopper's ship. No word on where the Captain is right now but we'll try to bring you updates throughout Earth Day. Rockhopper himself is getting in on the eco-action. Here's his to-do list:
Reuse me cream soda bottles.
Water me plants!
Sing with swamp frogs!
Recycle snow with me mateys.
There is also a new Field Ops involving protecting trees with a snowball. You have to visit the Dock and go North!
Also, the Easter egg hunt. We'll try to bring updates on how to complete that too!

Parties, Easter Eggs & Pins!
We all know by now Earth Day is tomorrow (April 21) and Club Penguin are having a party.
Here's some more information on that party:
It will run from April 21-26. It will be themed around animals. The ever-popular Coins For Change scheme will return with a target of $100,000! There will be two themed costumes for members.
Aside from the party, it's Easter on April 24 and Club Penguin are having an egg-stra (pardon the pun) special Easter egg hunt for all to join in! That, like the Earth Day party, shall happen on April 21.
We are also having another visit from Rockhopper (see previous post for more details).
Since February, penguins have been happy about two pins being hidden on the island. This has been in celebration of puffles. Unfortunately, this will end tomorrow. There shall only be one pin hidden on the island from April 22 until further notice.
However, starting April 26, earn stamps on Pizzatron 3000 and Ice Fishing! More details to come.

Earth Day is almost here... and so is Rockhopper.
On 21st April 2011, it is Earth Day. A day to celebrate planet Earth and how we can be helpful to the environment.
But on Club Penguin, it's a different story.
On April 17th, G confirmed that Protobot and Herbert will attack Club Penguin on Earth Day.
Recently, if you look through the telescope, you can see Rockhopper's ship. Is Rockhopper on that ship? We believe so.
Here's a picture taken from the Beacon, looking through the telescope.
Unfortunately, Rookie announced an OPEN MESSAGE on ALL CHANNELS! Rookie said he is upset about what Herbert will do the environment. Since it's an OPEN MESSAGE, ANYONE can read it.
What's also scary, is that Rookie is now missing from the Characters list on the Help page.
Has Rockhopper taken Rookie and held him as hostage? We don't know.
And will there be another meet and greet with Rockhopper on Earth Day? Once again, we don't know. But all will be revealed (hopefully!) on Earth Day.

Field Ops 40 Instructions
Hey guys,
If you're an EPF Agent, you might be aware of the Field Ops.
This time, the EPF have discovered Hebert will be planning a visit on Earth Day.
You need to visit "remote areas" and interrupt radio signals to hear what Hebert's planning to do.
The remote area you need to visit is the iceberg. Then stand on the far-left side. You should pick up radio signals on your Spy Phone. Click your Spy Phone and solve the puzzle! The puzzle will vary.
